What You Will Learn

Overview:

Bias is a natural part of the human experience, subtly influencing our decisions, interactions, and perspectives. For leaders, unexamined bias can impact team dynamics, decision-making, and organizational culture, potentially limiting growth and inclusivity. This class invites managers and supervisors to go beyond awareness and develop actionable strategies for leveraging communication and inclusivity as tools to challenge and reduce bias in their teams.

"Rethinking Bias: The Complete Master Class" equips leaders with the skills to recognize and address their own biases, fostering environments where every team member’s unique value—“somebodiness”—is acknowledged and celebrated. By honing communication skills and building strategies to include diverse perspectives, leaders will learn to create workspaces that support dignity, encourage collaboration, and drive meaningful impact.

Expected Outcomes:

Participants will deepen their understanding of how biases shape their interactions, enhancing their ability to communicate empathetically and inclusively. Leaders will leave with tools to cultivate a culture of respect and openness within their teams, promoting a workplace where every voice is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to flourish.
